Pilibhit, 17 October: Seven people died in a face-to-face collision with a pickup of a roadways bus coming from Lucknow to Pilibhit on the Puranpur-Khutar highway in Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. Dozens have been injured. Superintendent of Police Jayaprakash told that a roadways bus was coming from Pilibhit to Lucknow. From there, a pickup was coming towards Puranpur and both of them collided. Due to which the bus has overturned in the field. 7 people have died in this accident.
Most of the people around Pilibhit are in this. The injured are being run in the hospital. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (Yogi Adityanath) has announced financial assistance of five lakh rupees to the families of the deceased, expressing grief over this incident. Along with this, instructions have been given for proper treatment of the injured.

Superintendent of Police Jayaprakash arrived at the scene with a force of several police stations and the injured trapped in the vehicles were taken out. All the injured were taken to the Puranpur Community Health Center. When the condition became critical, he was referred to the district hospital. The condition of many people remains critical. The number of dead may increase.
