Car-riding miscreants looted rupees 31.5 million by firing outside ICICI Bank located in the Ricoh Industrial Area on Saturday afternoon in the town’s Shiprapath area. This amount was loaded in two boxes. The incident occurred at around 2 in the afternoon when the car of a private security company was going to another branch with cash from ICICI Bank. Security guard Kamal Singh Gurjar was shot in the firing, while miscreants attacked another employee Bhim Singh. This led to both the injured being admitted to a private hospital.

This whole robbery incident happened in just about 1 minute in broad daylight. Additional police commissioner Ajaypal Lamba, DCP South Manoj Kumar Chaudhary and senior officials arrived at the scene on finding the incident. The entire city was blocked. During this time, the police found the car of the robbers in an abandoned condition outside an apartment in the city’s estuary. It also had looted boxes and security guard rifles.

The manager of the private security company said that the incident occurred outside ICICI Bank located in the Ricoh Industrial Area. The bank is located in a building. At around 2 in the afternoon, they were taking cash in two boxes and taking them to another bank. This box was picked up by security guard Kamal Singh and employee Bhim Singh. As soon as they reached the main door of the building. Then the miscreants in the car opened fire. A bullet hit Kamal Singh. He fell down injured.

The miscreants then picked up both the boxes full of money and kept them in their car. When they started running, employee Bhim Singh came in front of the car to stop them, then the crooks took the car over him. After this, the bank employees informed the police. Earlier, while running from the miscreants ‘car, a guard in the cash van of the security company fired on the miscreants’ car. This broke his glass.
