Peshawar: In Pakistan’s Balochistan province, militants attacked a convoy of Pakistani oil and gas workers guarding Pakistani paramilitary forces, killing 15 people, including 8 paramilitary personnel. The attack in Shuru was claimed by the Balochistan Liberation Front but later a new militant organization also claimed responsibility for the attack. Officials said the attack was carried out in the town of Oramara in Gwadar when the convoy of the Government Oil and Gas Development Company was heading for Karachi.
Militants also set fire to vehicles during the attack. The attack was well-planned and the attackers had already been informed of the passing of the convoy. The security forces evacuated the convoy despite losing their lives. The terrorists have also suffered a lot during the encounter. Security forces have laid siege to the entire area and terrorists are being searched. The official said, Baloch Raji Ajoy Singer (BRAS), an organization of Balochistan, has claimed responsibility for the attack on Twitter. Security forces are investigating this.
