Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for Mumbai about a month ago in connection with the investigation into the case of death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput It had left and now the SIT team has returned to Delhi to meet with the forensic team of AIIMS next week. Sources have informed about this on Thursday.
According to CBI sources, the SIT team has returned to Delhi on Wednesday and will now hold a meeting with the forensic team of AIIMS on Sunday and will also take their opinion on Medico Legal in the matter in the coming weeks. The team went to Mumbai on 20 August after handing over the task of investigating the death of the late actor to the CBI. During this time, the team of forensics was also with him. During CBI’s stay in Mumbai, the forensic team of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) also visited Sushant’s flat. Sushant’s sister Mitu Singh, Pithani and the crime scene with the employees were also recreated.
