Ram Rakhi is popular in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Here, sisters led by Gurukrupa Sansthan are preparing Ram Rakhi on a large scale. These ashes will be sent to Ayodhya. Where Ram will be tied on the wrists of artisans engaged in temple construction and decoration of Ayodhya. Three types of Ram Rakhi have been made by the institute. In one, there is a picture of the model of the proposed Ram temple, in the second, the form of Lord Rama, while the third picture is of Rudrabhishek in Rameshwaram before Lanka victory.
Brijesh Ram Tripathi, director of Gurukrupa Sansthan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya on 5 August. Being the Chief Minister’s city and seeing the significant contribution in the construction of the Ram temple of Gorakshpeeth, it was decided to make this contribution. They say that the sisters of the institute are preparing these ashes on a large scale. Which will be sent to Ayodhya. These ashes, decorated there and on the wrists of the brothers of Gorakhpur, will convey the message of Rama to the country and the world in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and every particle.
