Aam Aadmi Party MP and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, Sanjay Singh, spoke on several issues while participating in the discussion on the Aircraft Amendment Bill 2020 in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, the second day of the monsoon session of Parliament. Singh, while participating in the discussion, made several demands for snatching the employment of airline employees and for not giving proper compensation to the farmers regarding the airports being built in Ayodhya and Jewar.
In the House, Sanjay Singh said that while unemployment has increased throughout the Corona period, in the airline sector too many people have lost their jobs. He said, “Jet Airways employees are currently forced to run a rickshaw to run a vegetable shop. Their pain and suffering is unbearable. ‘ Singh requested the aviation minister to take steps to end the problems of these employees.
Farmers’ land being bought at the cost of a lot of money: Singh
Singh said that the land being acquired by the farmers at Jewar Airport and Shri Ram Airport in Ayodhya is not being properly compensated. He said, ‘Many farmers of Ayodhya came to meet me. Farmers told that their precious land is being bought at a price of a penny. Sanjay Singh demanded fair compensation to the farmers.
AAP will always stand with farmers: Sabhajit
On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party Uttar Pradesh president Sabhajit Singh thanked Sanjay Singh for raising the issue of Shri Ram Airport in Ayodhya on behalf of Sanjay Singh. He said that party MP and state in-charge Sanjay Singh has put the discrimination against farmers of Dharampur village in front of the government and the public. Sabhajit hoped that now the government will provide fair compensation to the suffering farmers. He further said that whenever any government will use wrong policies against farmers, then the Aam Aadmi Party will stand with the farmers for the rights of the farmers.
