Patna Corona virus continues to wreak havoc in the country. In all states as well as Bihar, the corona explosion is erupting. Along with Corona, the flood crisis in Bihar has also disrupted people’s lives. Assembly elections are coming close in Bihar amid Corona epidemic and flood crisis which does not seem right in any way.
Now NDA partners have also come out in protest about this election. On the other hand, amid the announcement of Election Commission to hold elections on time, now LJP supremo and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan are also not in favor of conducting Bihar elections in Corona crisis. Speaking to the media, Ram Vilas Paswan said that no one knows how far Corona will grow in Bihar and how far it will go.
In such a situation where millions of teachers will be polling officers, lakhs of security forces will be deployed. Therefore, LJP’s opinion is still to postpone elections. Ram Vilas Paswan said that we do not know whether to impose President’s rule or take other steps, but the lives of the poor should not be put at risk.
Paswan said that if elections are held, all people should get the right to vote. On the question of whether JDU wants elections, Paswan said that JDU may have conducted a survey. We will not comment on this. Regarding Corona, Paswan said that there is still a lack of treatment in Bihar. The central government should also focus on Bihar on the lines of Delhi.
At the same time, the Election Commission has once again said that assembly elections will be held in Bihar on time. Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said that preparations for the election are being made keeping in mind the corona epidemic. The Election Commission has thus rejected the demand to postpone the election in view of Corona.
Speaking to the media, the Chief Election Commissioner of the Election Commission of India said that preparations are being made to conduct the Bihar assembly elections on time. The Election Commission is following all the rules regarding Corona. All arrangements will be made regarding the epidemic. It has been decided to hold assembly elections on time.
