Jaipur: The CM of Ashok Gehlot (CM Ashok Gehlot) approved a major amendment in the midst of the political crisis in the Government of Rajasthan. On the initiative of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the State Cabinet has approved the amendment in the Rajasthan Judicial Service Rules, 2010 to provide five percent reservation in place of one percent in Rajasthan Judicial Service, including Gurjars. .
Through this amendment, five percent reservation is proposed in place of one percent in Rajasthan Judicial Service for the candidates belonging to Extreme Backward Classes. Significantly, the candidates belonging to the OBCs have been demanding amendment in the judicial service rules for a long time, so that they can get five percent reservation in place of one percent in the state judicial service.
With this, it will be possible to provide more opportunities to the candidates of the Backward Classes like the Gujjar, Raika-Rabari, Gadiya-Luhar, Banjara, Gadaria, etc. to the Rajasthan Judicial Service. In this way, 55 percent reservation in judicial service has been made in the state. In all the government services of the state, five castes including Gujjars are being given five percent reservation in the Backward Classes.
