The Indian Railways Ministry also said in its notification that there will be no change in the operation of 230 special trains currently running between selected destinations, including local trains running in Mumbai for those engaged in essential tasks. .
The Indian Railways Ministry has further informed that special trains are being monitored on a regular basis and additional special trains can also be run as per requirement. Releasing his statement, the railway official said, however, all other regular and suburban trains running before the lockdown will remain closed for some time.

In this viral circular, it was said that the Railways has postponed all mail, express, passenger and sub-city train services till September 30 in view of the epidemic problems. But the railways has rejected the talk of this viral circular. It was also stated that no new circular has been issued related to the resumption or postponement of trains.
Refuting the talk of this viral message, the railway said that there is news in some parts of the media that the railway has canceled all the regular trains till 30 September. this is not right. No new circular has been issued by the Ministry of Railways. Special mail express trains will continue.
