How to withdraw money from PF account: Do you also want to withdraw money from your Provident Fund (PF) account? The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has also continued to work on the mission mode during the Corona period. According to official figures, a total of over Rs 39,000 crore has been withdrawn from PF accounts from March to August. If you have to withdraw money from your PF account, then there is no need to go anywhere or request anyone. You can complete this work in a few minutes from your smartphone. Only internet will be required for this work. The entire process can be completed within two minutes. There are two main digital ways to withdraw money from PF account, here you can claim PF with the help of UMANG app. Your KYC must be completed to withdraw money from the PF account from the Umang app. Also, the UAN number should be linked to your Aadhaar and the UMANG app must also be linked to Aadhaar. Follow these posture steps-
Step 1- First of all, download the UMANG app on your mobile. All EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organization) members can use this app.
Step 2- Open the app and click on EPFO option.
Step 3- Then select ‘Employee Centric’ option
Step 4- Now select the option Raise Claim.
Step 5- After this you enter your EPF UAN Number. If you do not know your UAN number, you can ask your company.
Step 6- After submitting the UAN number, one-time-password will come on your registered mobile number, write it in the box.
Step 7- Then select the withdrawal type and enter the amount you want to withdraw and click on submit.
Step 8: As soon as your claim is submitted, you will get a claim reference number (CRN). Keep the CRN safe.
With the help of step 9-CRN (Claim Reference Number), you can check the current status of your claim online.
Step 10- Money will be transferred by EPFO from your PF account to your bank account within 10 working days.
It is noteworthy that despite the challenges of Corona, the EPFO (Employees’ Provident Fund Organization) rapidly completed the work of KYC updation of the account holders. Actually, with the help of Universal Account Number (UAN), the account holders can avail all the services of EPFO through digital way (UMANG APP) when KYC is updated.
