Nashik Shocker! A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Nashik, Maharashtra. According to reports, the police have arrested a 35-year-old woman for allegedly burning private parts of a physically challenged 10-year-old stepson. It is being told that this incident took place on June 7 in Pade village of Nashik district of Maharashtra. The accused stepmother was arrested following a complaint by her husband. At the same time, the child suffering from burns in the lower abdomen and private part up to 20 percent (Stepson) has been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Nashik, where he is being treated. At present, the condition of the child is said to be stable.

According to a report in Times of India, the police said that the physically challenged boy was playing in the bed with his one-and-a-half year old half-brother. A one-and-a-half-year-old child fell down from the bed after being pushed while playing, causing the woman to rage with anger. Enraged, the woman first started beating her physically handicapped step-son and then by heating the steel chapati flipper on the stove, burnt the boy’s private part. When the private part was burnt by the stepmother, the victim started crying in pain. Hearing his scream, a relative living in the neighborhood called the boy’s father. After this the woman’s husband came back home from work and took his son to the hospital. Additional Civil Surgeon Kishore Srivas said that the private part of the victim was not damaged. After this incident, the father lodged a complaint, after which the police arrested the woman.

The police have booked the accused woman under sections 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) of the Indian Penal Code and other sections of the Juvenile Justice Act and Protection of Children. Case has been registered. It is being told that the accused woman is the aunt of the victim child. His father had divorced his mother and four years ago the man had married the child’s aunt.

New York, June 17 : Microsoft has named its Indian-origin CEO Satya Nadella as the company’s chairman, in an additional role in which he will “lead in setting the board’s agenda.” Microsoft Corp announced Wednesday that the board’s independent directors unanimously agreed. Nadella was selected for the role of chairman of the board.

In addition, John W. Thompson was unanimously elected as Chief Independent Director. He has played this role in the past from 2012 to 2014 as well. “In this role, Nadella will lead the agenda-setting work for the Board, taking advantage of the right strategic opportunities and developing a deep understanding of the business to identify key risks and mitigate their impact,” the company said in a statement.
