Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit ‘Rage 2020’ on 5 October on artificial intelligence (AI). The online conference is being organized jointly by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and NITI Aayog. According to the official statement, the conference will be global on the subject of ‘Responsible AI 2020 for Social Empowerment’ (RAZ 2020).It will exchange views on social change, inclusiveness and empowerment in areas such as health, agriculture, education and smart mobility. The conference will be attended by representatives and experts on research, policy and innovation on AI. According to the statement, Rage 2020 will be held from October 5 to October 9. In this, experts will speak and discuss topics such as the use of AI in preparation to deal with the epidemic, inclusive AI and participation for successful innovation.
Role of ai
Prakash Sahni, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, said that artificial intelligence has emerged as a catalyst in industries and it can play a transformational role in accelerating growth. He said that the role of AI in social empowerment will be discussed in depth at the summit. Industry analysts estimate that AI could add $ 957 billion to the Indian economy by 2035.
