Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir feels that the presence of New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah will strengthen Mumbai Indians (MI). Not only this, he said that the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will also have a heavy Mumbai score.

Gambhir said in a show, ‘I’m really looking forward to seeing how Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah bowl with the new ball. We all know that Bumrah and Bolt are world-class bowlers and specializes in taking both wickets in T20 format. “There is a left-handed fast bowler who brings the ball in for the right-handed batsmen, while Bumrah has a different style of bowling,” he said.

Chennai’s key player Raina has opted out of the IPL due to personal reasons and Gambhir believes that without him the number three challenge would be for CSK. He said, “Chennai Super Kings will not have Suresh Raina to bat at number three and it will be a challenge for them. Shane Watson has not played international cricket in a long time, so it will be interesting to see who starts the batting with him and how they face these two fast bowlers.
