In India, Maruti has sold more than 1 lakh cars in the month of July. In July 2020, the company sold 101,307 units. At the same time, in July 2019 the figure was 100,006. In this way, the company has recorded an annual growth of 1.3 per cent in SAIL.
Demand for these cars increased
Models such as Maruti Suzuki Alto, S-Preso, Wagon R, Silario, Swift, Baleno, Dzire have been in high demand. At the same time, the sales of Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, S-Cross also saw 26.3 percent growth. Maruti is also planning to bring new cheap cars. This Maruti car will replace the Alto 800 in India. According to a report by Emkay Global Financial Services, the company is also planning to revive the BS6 diesel engine model in India.
