The market cap of the 10 most valuable companies of BSE fell by Rs 1.38 lakh crore due to the decline in the stock markets last week. Reliance Industries Limited and HDFC Bank have suffered the most in this period. The BSE Sensex closed down 522.01 points or 1.36 per cent last week.
Reliance’s market cap comes to Rs 13.10 lakh crore
Last week, the market cap of Reliance Industries Ltd. decreased by Rs 50,239 crore. With this decline, Reliance’s market cap has come down to Rs 13.10 lakh crore. Similarly, the market cap of HDFC Bank has decreased by Rs 46,374 crore and has come down to Rs 5,67,877.74 crore.
TCS market cap increased by Rs 47 thousand crores
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) saw a market cap of Rs 47,054 crore last week. With this, TCS’s market cap has crossed Rs 8.56 lakh crore. At the same time, the market cap of Infosys rose by Rs 18,591 crore to more than Rs 4.11 lakh crore. Reliance still remains the top company in terms of market cap. It is followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, HUL, Infosys, HDFC, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ITC and ICICI Bank.
