The decoction made from all these ingredients can prove helpful in boosting the immune system.
Keep these things in mind:
- Using excessive amount of ginger in decoction can cause heartburn.
- Decoction should not be taken during fasting as it may cause nausea (vomiting) and stomach irritation.
- Honey should also be used in limited quantities as it can increase body heat which can cause restlessness.
- In the case of diabetes patients, the amount of sugar should be kept very low.
