An Air India Express flight coming from Dubai to Kerala crashed during landing at Kozhikode International Airport. The accident was so severe that the plane broke into two pieces. At the same time, 15 people died in this accident. It also includes the pilot Captain Deepak Vasant Sathe and the co-pilot Akhilesh Kumar. Captain Deepak Sathe, the pilot flying the aircraft, was handling during this accident. Deepak Sathe was a former Indian Air Force pilot who died in the accident. He also had experience of flying Air Force combat aircraft. Captain Deepak Sathe has received honors in AFA. Along with this, he was also a trainee pilot of HAL.

After which the aircraft was badly damaged in this accident, but during this time, it was a privilege that there was no fire in it. It may be noted that before the accident, Deepak Sathe first rotated the aircraft in the sky and took stock. Tried to land them in the second time. The plane had 174 passengers, 10 children, two pilots and five crew members on board. The plane was carrying passengers from Dubai. A total of 191 people were on board the aircraft.
