Karishma Prakash, the former manager of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, has resigned from Kwan Talent Management Company and now has nothing to do with Deepika Padukone. Since Tuesday, there were rumors that Karisma has resigned from Cowan Talent Management Company. On Wednesday, the company released an official statement confirming this.
Co-founder and CEO of the company Vijay Subramaniam said, “Karisma Prakash resigned on October 21 with immediate effect which has been accepted. Now she has nothing to do with the agency or any artist including Deepika Padukone No. The ongoing investigation is going on personally against Karishma Prakash. A few days ago, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summoned Deepika’s former manager Karishma Prakash in connection with the investigation of drugs related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Since then, there is no trace of Karisma.
Before this, Deepika and Karishma have appeared before the NCB for questioning.
Apart from Deepika, NCB has also questioned Bollywood actresses Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan in the drug related case in the investigation of Sushant’s death. The NCB also confiscated the phones of the three actresses and sent them to the forensic department for investigation.
The NCB had registered a case on the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in which drugs were discussed in August based on some alleged WhatsApp chats.
Sushant was found dead in his flat in Mumbai on 14 June. The NCB, CBI and ED are investigating his death.
