new Delhi: The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has released a new guideline for international travelers arriving in the country. This guideline will be applicable from August 8 at 12:01 am. Under the new guideline, all passengers will have to give self declaration at https://newdelhiairport.in at least 72 hours before the scheduled journey.
According to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, passengers will also have to give an affidavit on the portal that they will follow the 14-day quarantine period. There will be a seven-day institutional quarantine, in which they will have to live at their expense and there will be a seven-day home quarantine.
Apart from this, 14 days of quarantine can be allowed in situations like pregnant women, death in the family, serious illness or having children below 10 years of age. For this, it has to be given on the website in advance. Apart from this, travelers can also get relief from institutional quarantine by submitting negative RT-PCR test report. These checks should not be older than 96 hours of travel time.
