- Narmada joined the Mahaarti; Inauguration of Mediation Centers, will go to Kanha today
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (CJI) Sharad Arvind Bobde said that I also want the courts to open, but more important is the protection of lives of the people. Right now physical hearing is not possible in the courts. The CJI said this during his stay in Jabalpur. He said that medical experts and meteorologists are constantly being discussed in this regard.
The Chief Justices of all the states are also assessing the circumstances. As soon as the circumstances are favorable, it will be decided to open the courts in a phased manner. CJI also attended Narmada Mahaarti on Saturday evening. Along with this, he inaugurated the Mediation Centers online at 5 places.
Earlier at 2 pm on Saturday, CJI reached Dumna Airport by plane from New Delhi. They reached the bungalow of Chief Justice of MP High Court at 2:30 pm from the airport. At 4:50 pm CJI was welcomed in the High Court premises. On 18 October, the CJI will leave for Mandla to look after the tigers. He will reach Kisli Rest House from Khatia Gate at 12 noon. It has been told that the CJI will stop here till 20 October afternoon. Kanha National Park will also be safari. See also page 2
