Hyderabad, October 17: Heavy rains in several parts of the city were again recorded on Saturday after heavy rains in several parts of the city earlier this week and traffic was disrupted due to water logging. According to official figures, from 8.30 am to 10 pm on Saturday, there was 157.3 mm (mm) of rain in Singapore township of Medchal Malkajgiri district and 153 mm (mm) in Bandlaguda near Uppal in the city.
Many other areas of the city also received heavy rainfall. According to a tweet by GHMC’s Director of Monitoring and Disaster Management, Vishwajeet Kamapati, Disaster Response Force (DRF) personnel of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) are continuously doing rescue work in water logging and flooding. Huh.

The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain with thunder in some parts of the city on Sunday. IMD has said in its latest weather update that there is a depression in northern Karnataka about 80 km north of Gulbarga, which was rapidly increasing in Maharashtra.
