Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Saturday that gyms and fitness centers in the state will be allowed to reopen from the day of Vijayadashami. That is, fitness institutes will open in Maharashtra from October 25. In an online meeting with representatives of gyms and fitness centers, Chief Minister Thackeray said that Zumba and group activities like yoga, steam and sauna facilities will not be allowed.
On the other hand, the Health Ministry in the country said that so far a total of 65,24,595 people have been discharged due to corona epidemic and currently there are 7,95,087 active cases. At the same time, 1,12,998 people have lost the war due to the epidemic. The recovery rate in the country is now 87.78 percent and the death rate is 1.52 percent. Maharashtra, the most affected state in the country, has a total of 15,76,062 cases and 41,502 deaths have been reported. With this, the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 74,32,680.

In Maharashtra, 10,259 people were found infected with the corona virus on Saturday, while 250 more patients died of infection. A health department official said that the total number of infections in the state has gone up to 15,86,321, while the death toll has reached 41,965. He said that 14,238 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, with which 13,58,606 people have recovered from this infection so far. Currently, 1,85,270 patients of corona virus are being treated in the state.
