There are complaints of gas leaks in the suburbs of Mumbai’s eastern region. On Twitter, people are giving information that there is a smell of gas around them. Many people have tweeted like this. Those who are saying have been feeling this smell for quite a while. People have complained of gas leaks in Chembur, Kanjurmarg, Powai and Govandi suburbs of Mumbai. As of now, no official statement has been issued by BMC and Fire Brigade regarding this matter so far. Let us know that even before this, reports of gas liquor have come from these areas.
Please tell that earlier in the month of June, similar news came out. The gas leak was reported late night to BSMC. After which the fire brigade and BMC were alerted. The Mumbai Metropolitan Municipality had tweeted that they have received information that gas leaks are happening in Chembur, Ghatkopar, Kanjurmarg, Vikhroli and Powai areas of Mumbai.
People tweeted and complained
It may be noted that a similar incident came to light in September last year. Even at that time, the gas was reported to the BMC and the fire brigade. According to the information that was revealed at that time, gas leakage was reported in Chembur plant of National Rasanik Fertilizer. But the information did not come out right after investigation.
