Guwahati: Senior Congress leader and former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has been admitted to the ICU on Thursday due to fall in oxygen levels due to complications after Kovid-19. A senior doctor gave this information. Gogoi, 85, was found infected with the corona virus on August 25, after which he was admitted to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Gogoi remained hospitalized even after being free of infection.

Hospital Superintendent Abhijeet Sarma said that Gogoi was already in the grip of many diseases and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after the oxygen level was low with some lung problems.
