According to Hindu Panchang, Dhanvantari Jayanti is celebrated on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. This year, the festival of Dhanvantari Jayanti and Dhanteras will be celebrated on 13 November 2020 (Friday).

Who is Lord Dhanvantari?

Ayurveda was born with the appearance of Lord Dhanvantari, hence he is also called the father of Ayurveda. Lord Dhanvantari has four arms, in which he wears conch, chakra, medicine and nectar urn. Along with this, Kubre-Lakshmi is also worshiped.
