Navratri, the festival of worship of the mother, began on Saturday amidst the Korena epidemic. On the first day of this 9 day festival, there was a flow of devotees in the Mata temples from morning. Harsiddhi temple, one of the major Shakti Peeths of the country, also has a continuation of the darshan of devotees since morning. Devotees from far and wide reach Ujjain on the occasion of Navratri to have darshan of Mata Harsiddhi. However, under the rules of Corona, this time devotees are neither able to save the bell nor offer flowers and offerings to the mother. With social distancing, devotees are returning from a distance to visit Mata. Devotees who arrived here said that they have come to seek blessings from the mother. The mother wished to be freed from this Carona epidemic.
Ujjain-based mother Harsiddhi is the adorable goddess of the emperor Vikramaditya, the king of Ujjain. Apart from this, the temple is one of the major Shaktipeeths of the country. According to the legend prevalent in the scriptures, the elbow of Mother Sati fell here. This temple is also mentioned in the scriptures about four thousand years old. According to the priests of the temple, the temple of Mata Harsiddhi is a center of special faith for the devotees due to being a Shaktipeeth. By the way, a fair of devotees is held daily in the court of Mata Harsiddhi, but their number increases significantly during Navratri.

Special arrangements in the temple in view of Corona
Special rituals will be performed for nine days at the Harsiddhi temple on the Navratri festival. Devotees here seek blessings from mother and wish for happiness and prosperity. It is believed that Mother also fulfills all wishes of her devotees. In view of Korana, sanitizer machine has been arranged at the entrance along with having the darshan of the mother remotely. The entry and exit routes are set aside. Flowers, offerings, garlands are prohibited. Ringing the bell is prohibited. Special attention is being taken to social distancing and masks.
