Jaipur: The demand for Gujjar reservation has increased once again in Rajasthan. The Gujjar Reservation Sangharsh Samiti held a mahapanchayat in Bayana on Saturday and to obey their demands regarding reservation. Rajasthan Gave the government time till 1 November. In the mahapanchayat organized in Bayana’s Adda village, the convener of the committee, Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla, said that the society will wait for the government’s action till November 1, even if the demands are not worked out, it will agitate. He said that we want our right in peace.

Bainsla said that, keeping in view the work of farming and festival season, we have kept time till November 1. He said, ‘The government has also got time till November 1. Even after that, if the demands are not worked then the society will come and sit on the track. Talking to the top government officials from Colonel Bainsla on behalf of the government, he said that the officials did not come up with any concrete proposals while we want our demands to be worked out.

Warning to Gehlot Government:

Gurjar leader Kirori Singh Bainsla said, I am warning the government. Looking at the situation, I am giving the government some time once again. We will take a decision on 1 November – our demands will be met or we will start the movement.

The main demands of the committee include making reservation in the 9th schedule of the center, taking backlog recruitments and giving the benefit of full five percent reservation in the processions. In view of this mahapanchayat of Gurjars, the earnest had increased the vigil in Bharatpur and told the top officials to be vigilant. IAS officer Neeraj K. from Jaipur Pawan also met Bainsla and offered talks. Internet was also closed in many areas.

Taking a dig at the Congress government in this matter, BJP said that it has complicated the case and it is running the work only by assuring the Gujjars. However, Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara said that the Central Government can fulfill the demand of the ninth schedule of Gurjar Samaj and the leaders of the society should talk to the 25 BJP MPs of the state about it.
