COVID-19: Rohingya woman dies due to complications arising after being freed from corona virus infection

Jammu, June 8 : A 62-year-old woman, admitted to a hospital in Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir, died due to health complications arose after she was cleared of coronavirus infection. The woman was among 220 Rohingya Muslims who were kept in a center after they were found to be living here illegally.

Officials said that Noor Ayesha was found infected on 25 May. He was admitted to the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Kathua here on May 31 after his condition worsened, including heart-related ailments. He told that during the treatment, Ayesha’s test report confirmed her infection-free, but she died of a heart attack.
