New Delhi, 3 November: In the last 24 hours, 38,310 new cases of Coronavirus and 490 deaths have been reported in the country. After this, the total number of cases has increased to 82,67,623. According to data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are 5,41,405 active cases in the country. A total of 76,03,121 patients have been cured and 1,23,097 people have lost their lives in this epidemic. The recovery rate in the country is 91.68 percent and the death rate is 1.49 percent.
Maharashtra, the worst-hit state in the country, has a total of 16,87,784 cases and 44,128 deaths. After this, the maximum number of cases have been reported in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

Meanwhile, after 4,001 new cases were reported in the national capital on Monday, the total number increased to 3,96,371. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) conducted 10,46,247 sample tests on Monday, after which the total number of tests has increased to 11,17,89,350.
