New Delhi, 17 September: The Lok Sabha members of the Congress (Congress), who hail from Punjab, on Thursday lit copies of agricultural bills in the Parliament complex and demanded their withdrawal. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar introduced these bills in the Lok Sabha on the first day of the monsoon session. Congress MP Amar Singh said, “These bills are anti-farmer. The government should immediately withdraw these bills. Farmers are protesting on the streets, but these governments are not ready to listen.”
