Patna’s city SP Vinay Kumar Tiwari left for Mumbai to investigate the suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. They, along with Mumbai Police, will scrutinize the file of the suicide case and try to get to the bottom of it. Earlier, four officers of Bihar Police are investigating in Mumbai. However, they have not found any significant evidence related to the suicide case so far. Riya Chakraborty, the main accused in this case, has not even been questioned yet.
Four Bihar Police officers have been investigating in Mumbai for 6 days
Sushant’s father KK Singh had filed a case against Riya Chakraborty and his family at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar police station on 28 July. After this, four officers of Bihar Police went to Mumbai for investigation. They have been investigating this matter for the last 6 days. It is alleged that the Mumbai Police team is not coordinating with the Bihar Police. DGP Gupteshwar Pandey has also said that the Mumbai Police is not cooperating in this matter. He neither handed over the postmortem report to us, nor the CCTV footage nor any information which has been recovered during the investigation so far.
Big challenge to coordinate with Mumbai Police in investigation
It will be the effort of City SP Vinay Tiwari to investigate the matter with the Bihar Police by taking all the documents related to this case with the Mumbai Police. In this case, people whose names have come up will be talked to everyone. Co-ordinating with Mumbai Police is also a big challenge in the investigation. Apart from this, there will be an attempt to talk to the main accused in the case, Riya Chakraborty.
Politics on the investigation of suicide case
The tussle between Bihar and Mumbai police over the investigation of the suicide case has reached a political level. Bihar leaders are constantly alleging that Mumbai police is not helping in the investigation. Nitish has also said that the Mumbai Police should cooperate in the investigation. However, he said that there is no such thing as a quarrel between the two states in this investigation. On Nitish’s statement, Uddhav Thackeray said that anyone who has any evidence or information should bring it. The accused will definitely be hanged.
