Patna: You must have heard many stories of love between husband and wife and you must have seen the immense love between husband and wife. One such case was seen in Purnia when the husband, upset due to the wife’s maternal home, measured the distance of about 500 km by scooty. During this he also had to spend the night in the police station. This case is from Purnia district of Bihar. According to the police, Sandeep Kumar of Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh was married two years ago. After the wife’s maternal home, he was so angry that he reached Purnia, 495 km away by driving a scooty.

A police officer said on Monday that he had to take shelter at the Khazanchi Haat (Kehat) assistant police station on Saturday night due to the disturbance of anti-social elements. The station in-charge of Kehat, Sanjay Kumar Singh told that Sandeep Kumar loves his wife very much, suddenly his wife went to her maternal home. Even after many efforts, when she did not come, she herself decided to go to her maternal home to meet her. The station in-charge told that when the police demanded the identity card from him, he could not show it. The police contacted the Pateria Fazil Nagar police station located in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh regarding the identity. Sandeep’s father requested Purnia police to keep him in the police station.

Police station in-charge Singh told that Sandeep Kumar’s father Brij Bihari Singh called from Kushinagar and told that Sandeep was upset. His father Brij Bihari Singh told that Sandeep started getting very upset after his wife’s maternal home.

He said that an FIR was also lodged regarding his disappearance in this matter. The relatives made Sandeep talk to his wife from Purnia itself and then the wife agreed to return. The station in-charge told that Sandeep had no relation with Purnia, he had reached here just wandering.

Puri, 17 June : The famous Jagannath Temple of Puri will open for the public on July 25. This information was given by the authorities on Wednesday. Chief Administrator Krishna Kumar said that this decision was taken in the meeting of Shri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA). He said the temple was closed for devotees till June 15, which was extended till July 25. The temple will be open to the public two days after the completion of the Rath Yatra festival. Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra and Lord Jagannath will return to the temple on July 23 after the nine-day Rath Yatra festival. “The devotees will get an opportunity to enter the temple after two days,” he said.

However, the SJTA will meet again on July 24 or 25 and will take a decision on allowing the public depending on the prevailing situation, Kumar said. Snan Yatra (bathing festival) on June 24 and Rath Yatra on July 12 will be conducted without devotees as per the decision of the state government, following the COVID-19 guidelines. Kumar said that the Rath Yatra would be done in the presence of security personnel with the participation of the servicemen. He said that the servants participating in the festival will have to submit a certificate of both the doses of vaccination or a Covid negative report. District Magistrate Samarth Verma said that prohibitory orders would be enforced in Puri during the festival. The SJTA in a separate meeting also decided to constitute two committees to cover the eight gates of Jagannath temple with silver lining. One of them will be the Technical Committee and the other will represent the Sewadars. Kumar said that a donor would provide silver. Kumar said around two tonnes of metal is likely to be used.

Patna, June 17 : In Bihar, now the process of meeting corona patients has reduced considerably, due to which the situation is becoming normal. On Wednesday, the number of active corona patients in the state has come down to 3,990. 370 new cases have been reported in the state on Wednesday. No district in the state has reported more than 50 cases. 370 corona infected have been identified in the state on Wednesday, which is less than Tuesday. On Tuesday, 410 infected people were identified in the state.

According to the report released by the Health Department, among the new patients in the state, Patna has the highest number of 34 new infected, while 27 new patients were found in Saharsa. Out of 38 districts of the state, less than 10 patients have been found in 22 districts. During the last 24 hours, 1,11,819 samples were tested in the state, so far a total of 3.16 crore samples have been tested in the state. According to the report of the Health Department, in the last 24 hours in the state, 730 people have gone back to their homes free of corona infection.
