Daily air quality in the capital is recorded in the category of Delhi Air Pollution. Meanwhile, to deal with pollution, the Kejriwal government of Delhi has taken a big decision. The Delhi government has started the Anti Cracker Campaign in the state from today. Also, the use of firecrackers has been banned.
Environment Minister Gopal Rai today inspected the fireworks shops on the new road. He also said that according to the instructions of the Supreme Court, all the polluting firecrackers in Delhi have been banned. Now only the sale of green firecrackers is allowed. Gopal Rai said that from today anti-cracker campaign has been started all over Delhi in which 11 teams of Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), all concerned SDM and Delhi Police have been ordered to visit all the firecracker shops. In fact, due to this campaign, the aim of the AAP government is to burn only green firecrackers this year, so that pollution from firecrackers is reduced.
