Lucknow: 331 villages in 12 districts in Uttar Pradesh are affected by the floods and the state government on Saturday said the situation was completely under control. The state’s Finance, Parliamentary Affairs and Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna said that 331 villages of 12 districts in Uttar Pradesh are affected by flood and two districts are west of Lucknow and ten districts are east of Lucknow.
“There is no worrying situation yet, the situation is completely under control,” he said. He said that Barabanki, Ayodhya, Kushinagar, Gorakhpur, Bahraich, Azamgarh, Gonda, Sant Kabirnagar, Balrampur and Siddharthnagar districts are 10 districts affected by floods in the east of Lucknow, while Lakhimpur and Sitapur are flood affected districts in the west of Lucknow.
Khanna said, “About one lakh 90 thousand population of 331 villages are affected by the floods. Three rivers are flowing above the danger mark. He said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has specifically instructed that senior officers of the district should visit the flood affected areas themselves, wherever necessary, relief material should be provided. If there is any negligence or negligence in the flood management system, action will be taken against those responsible.

Every effort is being made by the government to ensure that people are least affected by floods. ” According to the news received from Lakhimpur Kheri, about two dozen villages of Lakhimpur tehsil have been filled with water of Sharda river. The standing crop is submerged in water.
Officials said that relief and rescue operations have been started. The situation of the flood is being closely monitored. About 2.5 hundred people of Nakhara village in Gonda have been forced to take shelter elsewhere. The flood water has entered their majors.
In the Colonelganj and Tarabganj tehsils, 70 boats have been deployed to help the people of the affected villages. In Barabanki, flood water has entered several villages of three tehsils. Such a situation arose because of the release of water into the Saryu-Ghagra river by Nepal.
