There is good news for all the state and private colleges students of the state. The College Education Department has decided to teach technical courses for the development of the capacity of college students. For this, an MoU has been signed by the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), KETA.
Under this, students will get the opportunity to read cyber security and many other courses. These cases will be completely free. A certificate will also be given. These courses have been named silent courses. Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, Principal of Government College Ajmer and Chairman of Race Committee of Ajmer District Government Colleges, Dr. ML Agarwal said that it is a good match for about 12 lakh students studying in Government and private colleges of Rajasthan.
For them, College Education Department Rajasthan has signed an MoU with IIIT quota for capacity development, employable additional skills and knowledge enhancement. IIIT Ketta State is designing silent course for students. These courses will be simple and easy from a linguistic point of view. Each course will be about 6-8 weeks and 30-36 modules. These will be taught for free.
332 state and 1778 private colleges will benefit
Commissioner College Education Sandesh Nayak said that there are 332 state and 1778 private colleges under the department. It is the department’s priority to organize a course or training for skill development for all its students. For this, the department is working with various institutions to conduct course-training based on skill proficiency, capacity development and knowledge enrichment. In this series, the department has done this MoU with IIIT quota.
Degree and certificate courses together
Education Commissioner Sandesh Nayak said that with this, students will be able to get degrees and read many certificates simultaneously. The department is starting the first such scheme for students studying in private colleges as well as state colleges. This will benefit more than 12 lakh students.
Designs are being done abroad
Professor Uday R., Director, IIIT Kota. Yaragatti said that Biden Network has also signed an MoU with Serbia to build these courses. These courses can be done online by the students as per their convenience. On completion of the course, all their work, evaluation and certificates etc. will be done online. These courses will be available in Hindi language.
These courses will be taught
The first phase courses include courses like Basic Computer, Advanced Computer, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Animation, Graphics, Data Entry, Spoken English and Communication Skills. MoU’s Dairen Biden Network Serbia team also joined online. Here, Additional Commissioner of College Education BL Goel, Ashek Kumar Vyas, Dr. Vinod Bhardwaj etc. were present.
